MapGridder: overlay grids on an interactive map

MapGridder is a free, browser-based map tool for overlaying a coordinate grid on an interactive map. Choose an MGRS grid (the military grid reference system, which divides the globe into 6° by 8° zones and 100,000-meter squares) or a custom metric grid in meters, then pan and zoom while the grid stays aligned to the map.

What you can do on the map

• Overlay an MGRS grid or a custom metric grid, set the cell size, color, and line width, and turn on row numbers and column letters for cell referencing.
• Measure straight-line and multi-point distances, with metric or imperial units.
• Place waypoints, tactical symbols, topographic symbols, and radius rings, and draw lines, arrows, and shapes.
• Import GPX and KML files to view tracks and routes, then export your work as GPX, KML, GeoJSON, a print-ready PDF, or an image.
